VITAMIN ANGELS INVITES TRACK FOUNDATION FOR A TRAINING PROGRAM

Vitamin Angels is an UK based organisation which  provides vitamins for underprivileged infants, children and pregnant women the medicines recognized and recommended by them are formulated in accordance with WHO [World Health Organization] and UNICEF [United Nations Children’s Fund].

Recently they organised a one day training program in Kolkata  on 28th August 2017 on Integrated  Vitamin A supplementation and Deworming (VAS + D) services at PROGGALOY, 37/2, Jessore Road, Rathtala, P.O. Hridaypur, Barasaat, Kolkata.

Where Track Foundation was invited as we are one of their NGO partner.

TRACK FOUNDATION STARTS IT INTER-STATE ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS AT CHATTISGARH

Recently Team Track Foundation paid a visit to Bilaspur Chattisgarh to oversee and improve  the deplorable conditions and situations of the Tribals living there.

The principal aim is to revive them off their present situation through which they are suffering from as of now.After a thorough and close inspection and survey across many tribal villages it has been realized and noticed that the main crisis which persists there is due to crisis of water which remains a pertinent problem in these areas.Water which is not only used for the purpose of drinking but at the same time it is a major resource for various activities,it is due to its scarcity it remains a major constraint in these areas to survive properly.

Apart from this lack of education among children and dearth of awareness among the villagers and women is also one of the main reasons they are striving so hard to earn their livelihood and gain sustenance.

Our aim is to make them aware and resolve the problem due to water scarcity in our upcoming projects.

Track Foundation and Bijoygarh Sevangam organizing a Sit & Draw Competition

Track Foundation and Bijoygarh Sevangam, is looking forward towards organizing a Sit & Draw Competition for the children on 05.08. 2017 at Niranjan sadan Bijoygarh and the program will commence from 3 pm onward. 

Children are like budding flowers- it gives us a divine feeling to see them bloom. And it is our duty to endow with them the right nourishment- the right environment. 

We are here to encourage these lil' champs to nurture their creative part.

Looking forward for your vigorous participation to make the event impressive one. 

One of our main objectives behind this program  is to encourage the children. 

We'll  give consolation prizes in addition to the awards given to the 1st , 2nd and 3rd.

FREE MEDICAL CAMP ON VITAMIN A DEFICIENCY

 Vitamin A deficiency

Vitamin A deficiency (VAD) is the leading cause of preventable blindness in children and increases the risk of disease and death from severe infections. In pregnant women VAD causes night blindness and may increase the risk of maternal mortality.Crucial for maternal and child survival, supplying adequate vitamin A in high-risk areas can significantly reduce mortality. Conversely, its absence causes a needlessly high risk of disease and death.

• For children, lack of vitamin A causes severe visual impairment and blindness, and significantly increases the risk of severe illness, and even death, from such common childhood infections as diarrhoeal disease and measles.

• For pregnant women in high-risk areas, vitamin A deficiency occurs especially during the last trimester when demand by both the unborn child and the mother is highest. The mother’s deficiency is demonstrated by the high prevalence of night blindness during this period. The impact of VAD on mother-to-child HIV transmission needs further investigation

Very soon Track Foundation is going to organize a health camp for children and babies where vitamin A supplements will be given for free.All necessary dosage will also be explained to their mothers in this regard.

Support a poor child! Donate 500/- INR per month.

There are many children who live in slum areas and are extremely poor. 
Most of the parents in the slum areas are illiterate and have very poor numeracy skills. As a result of their poor education, their job prospects are very limited to non-existent. 
The parents who manage to find work are paid very little for extremely hard labor and menial task. The children of these impoverished family hardly have meals. 
The meals that are available are of such poor nutritional value that they suffer from malnutrition. 
In such a weak condition, illnesses that we consider a distant memory or much less life-threatening (such as cholera, tuberculosis and hepatitis) are common. 
Unfortunately an education is a pipe-dream for many and the children are forced into work to help the family to survive. 

Our programs will provide one sound meal each day the children attend free school/tuition. 
The meals will be prepared, cooked and served to the children at the school/tuition to guarantee that they will have a chance at improving their health and well being. 
In addition to the guaranteed nutritional meal the programs will also provide a free education in English, Maths, Moral studies and basic computer skills.  
In addition, the whole family will be monitored by Track Foundation's volunteers ensuring the entire family gets a helping hand.
