THE TERM ''DALIT''.......
The term “Dalit” has different meanings for different people. The most common use of the term is to define people who were once known as “untouchables”, separated from the rest of society by the caste system.

Dalits have been oppressed, culturally subjugated, and politically marginalized.  The principals of untouchability and “purity and pollution” dictate what Dalits are and are not allowed to do; where they are and are not allowed to live, go, or sit; who they can and cannot give water to, eat with, or marry; extending into the minutia of all aspects of daily life.

TRACK FOUNDATION has worked steadily to provide India’s Dalits with the tools they need to make better lives for themselves and their families. We advocate tirelessly on behalf of India’s Dalits, addressing the issues of caste and untouchability, and standing strong for one of the world’s most oppressed populations. Our program is  to spread awareness regarding the social injustices faced by the Dalits and to provide resources. We emphasize to work toward the empowerment of dalits.

TRACK FOUNDATION focuses on development of Agriculture sector which is backbone of Indian economy.

Track Foundation  has been working effectively with farmer at area where there is no sufficient drinking and irrigation water (such as hilly and barren land area) poor socio economical facility; for making arrangement of water, to empower farmer, emphasize adult education, start health care center and welfare of women and children.
Our mission is to develop agriculture related activities with the development of rural areas in all respect for healthy, wealthy and empowered nation.

We emphasize on:
  • Converting maximum hilly and non-irrigated land into cultivable land.
  • Change the view of farmers to look agriculture as a business not only as the way of leaving.
  • To increase area under organic cultivation.
  • Start co-operative farming among farmers by increasing unity in farmers.
  • Educate villagers, farmers and his family in low cost.
We educate and support farmers to increase Organic Farming to curb global warming.

Scientist from Central Arid Zone Research Centre (CAZRI) Arum Kumar Sharma said that organic agriculture is the only way out to address the ill-effects of the global warming by increasing the soil carbon and elimination of Nitrus Oxide, which is produced from the use of Urea and DAP fertilisers.Organic agriculture is the panacea of all the ill-effects caused by the use of the chemical fertilisers and pesticides and in increasing the soil health as well as the tolerance of the crop.

Farmers should be make aware of the usage of healthy fertilizers.
We provide them awareness campaign for issues related to agriculture.

COME FORWARD AND DONATE TO SUPPORT OUR MISSION.

TRACK FOUNDATION IS CONDUCTING LIFE SKILLS TRAINING FOR MARGINALIZED WOMEN

We are an organization who believes that ensuring women's full equality and participation in society is one of the most effective ways to build a just, peaceful and sustainable society.

This project will jump start the beginning of the larger vision for Life Skills training and Improve livelihoods for Marginalized Women.
The project will improve the life skills and incomes of poor Women.
Underprivileged Women face enormous challenges related to occupation, conflict, deep rural poverty, food insecurity and lack of extracurricular activities.

Women in rural India have adult responsibilities, but no authority. Arranged marriages as young as age 13 are still common. Discrimination, abuse, and deeply entrenched attitudes combine to deprive girls of education, health care, and support. This project gives women practical decision-making skills and vital information about their health and finances, while increasing their solidarity with other women.

The participation of women in work and social life has put heavy demands upon them to make adjustment between her traditional role in her family and outside her home. Empowerment of women is one of the central issues in the process of development of country.
Empowerment literally means making or becoming powerful. Empowering actually means strengthening them to confirm family, community, caste and traditional forces such as patriarchal forces. This inevitable confrontation ensures their full participation in every aspect of social and economic development.

Life skills are a set of human skills acquired via teaching or direct experience that are used to handle problems and questions commonly encountered in daily human life.

                                  LIFE SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM
  • Stitching and sewing training to enable women to earn an income making and selling clothes.
  • Beautician training to enable women to start businesses providing henna, skin care, and hairstyling in their communities.
  • Early childhood care and education training  for women who wish to become preschool teachers.
  • Computer training  to teach women basic computer skills which will help them find higher paying jobs.

TRACK FOUNDATION'S RECONNAISSANCE ON TRIBAL ISSUES IN INDIA

India has more than 470 tribal groups, each with their district dwellings in villages and forests. There is a quantum jump in the assistance and recognition given to the Voluntary organizations working for the welfare and development of Scheduled Tribes, even though there is a National Commission for Scheduled Tribes. Efforts compromise schemes for educational, economic and social development including protective measures under the SC/ST (Prevention Of Atrocities) Act, and the policy of positive discrimination in public employment and education. However, movements like the land grab and self-rule programs at Panavalli are part of a countrywide drive by tribals for self-governance in the tribal areas.

The main problems the tribals face are:
i. They possess small and uneconomical landholdings because of which their crop yield is less and hence they remain chronically indebted.
ii. Only a small percentage of the population participates in occupational activities in the secondary and tertiary sectors.
iii. Literacy rate among tribals is very low.
iv. A good portion of the land in tribal areas has been legally transferred to non-tribals. Tribals demand that this land should be returned to them.
vi. Banking facilities in the tribal areas are so inadequate that the tribals have to depend mainly on moneylenders.
viii. Most of the tribals live in sparsely populated hills and communications in the tribal areas remain tough.

In brief the main problems of the tribals are poverty, indebtedness, illiteracy, bondage, exploitation, disease and unemployment.
Tribal people face major problems of finding nutritious food, proper clothing and a roof above their heads to problems of receiving no formal education and thus having no sustainable source of income.
TRACK FOUNDATION  believes that solving this ecological and social crisis requires that local communities be recognized as the first claimants on natural resources.  The rights of poor communities should be respected and their capacity to manage resources sustainably should be strengthened.
TRACK FOUNDATION and its Fellows believe that directional social change and sustainable economic development can be achieved by empowering oppressed & vulnerable communities. By equipping people at the grassroots to build and access a society based on the values of justice and equity, a life of fulfillment, dignity and respect can be achieved for all.

TRACK FOUNDATION HAS COME UP WITH VARIOUS MENTORING PROGRAM FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED YOUTH.

WE WILL PROVIDE SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING TO HELP THEM BUILD THEIR IDENTITY IN THE SOCIETY.

The Mentoring Program gives the chance to build a strong relationship between an underprivileged youth and a professional, who can provide advice and support the youth in their first steps in real life.
The Program consists of training, help in placement with valid certification after successfully completion of the course.

In our society underprivileged youth face many problems in terms of social and economic integration. The institutions or their families can't provide them with the needed attention in order to fully develop their potential. As a result, the youth lack self-confidence and motivation. They are not prepared to face the challenges of real life. They need positive role models, proper guidance, monetary support, counselling, etc. in order to be able to become an active part of our society.

Track Foundation is supporting the program "Life Skills for Youth" to help them earn a healthy livelihood.

The main objective of the project is to identify youth below the poverty line from the community and to extend  support for a holistic development, so that such youth are assured of a safe and secure future.

JOIN HANDS WITH US TO HELP THEM ACHIEVE THEIR DREAM CAREER.

In India roughly 1 billion people, where women have, on average, about three children, some 440 women die of maternity-related complications for every 100,000 live births. The United Nations estimates that at current levels of fertility and mortality, one out of every 55 women in India faces the risk of maternal death.
The direct causes of maternal deaths in India are similar to those of other developing countries. They include excessive bleeding, infections, pregnancy-induced hypertension, obstructed labor.
Since many complications cannot be predicted, professional care during delivery is key. The Reproductive and Child Health Programme emphasizes the need for mothers to deliver babies in hygienic conditions under the supervision of skilled health professionals, but most women in India deliver their babies at home without professional help.

TRACK FOUNDATION is  intervening to provide the necessary medical care, support, and treatment.

We are emphasizing  to identify weaknesses in rural health care and then provide the underprivileged with the necessary supplies and medical advice.

We are conducting  free health check up camps for the underprivileged women and child.

The objectives of our programmes  are to reducing maternal mortality/infant mortality through increased delivery at health institutions.

PLEASE COME FORWARD AND JOIN HANDS WITH US TO HELP US SUCCEED IN SAVING BOTH THE MOTHER AND CHILD AND HELP THEM LEAD A HEALTHY LIFE.
