EQUALITY IN EDUCATION

EQUALITY IN EDUCATION

Everyone should have the same opportunities in life. No one should be discriminated against because of social background, gender, religion, or age. But the real world seldom lives up to those ideals.

Society has a moral obligation to make sure that all children receive an adequate education that gives them the skills needed to become contributing adults in society.

Corruption and poverty often hinder educational opportunities in poorer communities. Poor families simply do not have the financial means to pay for school tuition, books, or school uniforms. They mainly put emphasize in arranging the daily food for the children. Also they indulge their children to work and earn from childhood itself.
In this process education gets neglected badly. They lay no importance in sending their children to schools and thus the school drop out rates increases in rural n semi rural areas, where underprivileged population rate is high.

All students have talents that grow through formal learning.By failing to develop those talents, society loses opportunities for enrichment and progress.

Inadequate education leads to large public and social costs in the form of lower income and poor economic growth, and higher costs of health care, social security, and increased crime.

Educational equity is the study and achievement of fairness, justice, and impartiality (equality) in education. The term equity means accommodating and meeting the specific needs of specific individuals.

Track Foundation aim to help these underprivileged children to get their deserving educational rights by providing them free educational tuition in various rural and semi rural areas, slum areas in and our the city.....and also we donate books through book donation programs. This helps us to bring these school drop out children into a mainstream.

COME FORWARD AND SHOW YOUR LOVE AND KINDNESS TO THESE UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN THROUGH YOUR DONATION FOR THEIR EDUCATION.

“A woman is human. She is not better, wiser, stronger, more intelligent, more creative, or more responsible than a man. Likewise, she is never less. Equality is a given. A woman is human.” ― Vera Nazarian, The Perpetual Calendar of Inspiration

WOMEN
GIRLS
Taking birth as a woman in a poor family can be said as curse for the women. Underprivileged women /girls  face lots of social issues and problems all through the life which are big struggle for them right from their beginning of life. Female infanticide is the initial social injustice a girl face right after her birth majorly among the financially unstable families . In poor families women/girls are considered as burden for their parents and husbands as they think that women/girls are here only to consume money whole life without earning a little bit.
Another common problem  is sex discrimination which they face from their birth and continues till their death. Illiteracy, lack of proper education, responsible for household works, rape, sexual harassment, trafficking etc are some big issues for the underprivileged girls/women..

Girls and women play an important role in building healthier, better-educated and sustainable communities. Women and girls are too often face difficult situations with some of the harshest aspects of poverty. Instead of victims, women and girls can be powerful community leaders.

Track Foundation aim to educate underprivileged girls/women from rural and semi rural areas and also to teach them with life skills so that they can get employed or can run her own business and can earn their livelihood.

MIRA, WE SALUTE YOU FOR YOUR COURAGE AND DETERMINATION.

TRACK FOUNDATION FEELS PROUD TO SHARE MIRA'S STORY TODAY.

Mira was born in a very poor family.
When we reached to mira to help her come out of the poverty and tried to teach her with livelihood skills, her parents stood against us because they wanted to marry her off at an early age.
Mira was determined to do something of her own which will help her to earn a  proper livelihood.
We enrolled mira in our livelihood skill development program.
Today she is a successful self employed woman and earning bread and butter for her family. Mira is running a tailoring shop and also out source her work to different boutiques across Kolkata.

EMPOWERMENT OF UNDERPRIVILEGED WOMEN THROUGH LIVELIHOOD SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

                  EMPOWERMENT OF UNDERPRIVILEGED WOMEN

Women are the most preponderant segment of the rural society who have long been overlooked in the process of empowerment.

TRACK FOUNDATION is focusing on proving a promising and innovative strategy of reaching the development goal of empowering women.

TRACK FOUNDATION focuses on providing educational programs, vocational, and social/livelihood skills development training to the underprivileged women to help them become confident and financially independent.

Our income-generating skill development program runs throughout the year in all our branches and in different villages of West Bengal.

Their family members see them benefiting from education and employment, and no longer force their girls to marry at a young age. Additionally the women share their knowledge with their family/children, and perhaps their husband's family, further extending the benefits of TRACK FOUNDATION.

We are requesting all our friends, well wishers, donors, volunteers to come together so that we can reach out to more women in distress.

LET THEM DREAM TOO...
